Well, here I sit. 2:20 am. How did I get myself into this!! Moved my Grandmother in with us in April. She was deathly ill and spent the balance of 2 months in an out of the hospital and rehab. I know that people all over the world struggle with keeping their elderly loved ones at home. Please please please let me be not the only one who is mad and shocked at the lack of appreciation. Perhaps it's just me.
I mean, maybe I would be a bitch at 86. But, seems to me that one would try to be very nice to the only person between them and the nursing home. Anyone else out there taking care of an elderly grandparent? Tips? Hints?
I think I'll start this blog as a place to vent. And beeeelieve me there's tons to vent about.
